PUTRAJAYA, March 6 — Effective 2026, the capitation grant distributed to state governments will be increased by 25 per cent, from RM109 million to RM548 million.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 — The government, through the National Finance Council (NFC), has agreed to increase the grants and financial support for each state this year, with a total allocation of RM8.9 billion.
